Vs commodore, how do i get too the globe ib my break lights

sounds like a dumb question but i just had a look and theres carpet over where back of the lights are and after peeling that back i cant see any way to get too the light... i just need to change a globe,,how the hell do i get too it

Go into your boot, behind the tail light lenses INSIDE the boot, pull the carpet away and unscrew the bits holding the globes in. I have never done it on my VS, but i assume it's the same for VR VS as it is for VN VP.

Undo the 3 nuts off the threads that are sticking out under the carpet, then pull the light assy. out.

OMG what a thread man.

Dont need to pull the light assy out, just unclip the plugs on the light

Grab the plug where the wires run outta, twist it to the left 1/4 turn, it will then slide out, push in the bulb n twist out it comes, put in newbie.

Find what light has blown, then find the plug for it, right behind where the light is, or should be.

ahh ok so just twist the plug with the wires and it wil have the globe attached?
sounds easier than it looks.

ummm with the VS u have to take the assembly out as there is only a rubber grommet which all the wiring runs thru...follow Andrew426's advice, the other guys obviously are only referring to VN/VP
