VN rear quarters, boot, bumper etc onto VR/S

hi all
starting a new project soon
just wondering if anyone has tried/succeeded in putting the boot/rear quarters/rear bumper etc from a VN/VP onto a VR/VS commdore?

easier to put vr/s front end on a vn/p and install vr/s dash + interior

wouldnt it be easier to use a vn body and put a vr/vs front??? or have you already got the car???

The reason is im respraying the whole car anyway and read up on putting a VS dash into VN/VP and seems like a whole lot of fart arsing around. The main reason however is that I want IRS and its virtually impossible to find a VP with IRS (mum has like the only one ever made and she wont sell it to me XD)

the rear quarters will cost you a pritty penny coz its all joined and part of the shell

i got quoted $400 painted to replace the left one on my VN after i hit a guard rail/sign/****ed if i know?

im shocked u WANT IRS...i think the early versions of it are the worst things ever made for a commodore

Haha nah i dont reckon, ive owned both and IRS is def better (camber associated tyre wear aside) Live axle just starts bouncing wen u go over bumps (lots of bumps where i live)
good for skids but handling.. not so much
