    Default Bumpers

    hey, first post yay
I am buying a vs ute with 120,000 km's this wednesday
its also lowered with 18" vy ss wheels on it but the front and rear bumpers are grey/black. what is the best way to get them to the same colour of the ute (white).
should i buy new bumpers from a wrecker or get somebody to paint it for me?

If they are already prep'd (and it sounds like they are being grey) then your better off going to 2 or 3 local spray painters and seeing what they charge to finish the job, it will be a possibly $300 - $400 still.

A picture here will speak more than what you can.

the grey black could be raw plastic. Are the VS bumpers even plastic ?

    Could also be undercoat.

    pics will help a lot

yeah i will upload pics when i get it
yeah it is plastic, it doesnt actually look to bad on it bcos its fairly rare but i'd rather white bumpers. i can get them painted from a wreckers pretty cheap but i wanted to know if the paint is really going to be the exact same colour as the body?

if they are any good spray painters they can match the colour slightly if yours is faded, but being white it should be fine. Metallics are usually the issue
