I have sifted few a many forums but cant find what i want to know. I am new to the technical engine side of cars and im trying to get an understanding for roller rockers as its the next thing i want to do to my car. What is this difference between switching to a 5/16rocker and a 3/8 rocker. and what is the difference between 1.7 & 1.8? I have read information on the Yella Terra site but im just wanting confirmation on my thoughts.
Your advice is appreciated
Dave

not 100% sure on the 5/16 n 3/8, guessing its bolt size.. but its the 1.7:1 and 1.8:1 is what you want.
its how much it'll lift/drop the valve when it opens. i believe 1.8:1 is the max for the buick, but dont know for sure. The more lift, the more air its letting into the cylinder, hence more go, is the basics
What have Yella Terra listed for your engine? All you need to ask is you want the ratio (1.7:1 or 1.8:1) for your VR, hand the cash over, install them and thats about it
