If all you touched were the rocker covers and it was running fine before I don't see why it would have seized, is the battery fully charged?

yeah the battery is in good order and the electronics seem fine, at first i thought it was just a lead not on the a spark plug properly coz it was rough as guts! it sounds like its gonna wreck the engine if i keep trying to turn it over.

na not the ignition leads, i made sure i marked them correctly and double checked them just then 2.

just checked the crank angle sensor and the plug had a fair bit of oil in it so might try replacing the unit 2moro nite if i get the chance.

Maybe you've disturbed something ignition related - usually it will be plug leads on the wrong pluds as Bombsky says...or maybe the coil packs have been disturbed. I'd retrace all steps you took when doing the job.

triple checked the leads and it was a pair going to the wrong plugs. think i was thinking to much bout the whole thing and just made the easy mistake.
