    Smile vs clubsport issue

    hey guys im having some issues with my vs clubsport the motors been rebuilt also gearbox and diff its a 5 speed manuel im running a inner active manifold with active top hat with twin throttles i noticed slowing down in 2nd gear at the lights around 15km my car starts to jerk about4 times then its fine its also bad stop n go in traffic doesnt seem to feel torquie as it usetoo be before feels sluggish .. also car seems to hunt on idle like up n down for like 2 times then will drop to 1000rpm and idle perfect sumtimes it will stay on idle at 1500rpm during driving n stop conditions

    wat could this issue be ?? any ideas

    the car hasnt been tuned yet due to running engine in and ive removed pcv vavle and bypassed all vaccums off the throttle bodies and just running
    2x oil breather filters off the rocket covers.

    Get it dyno tuned man, should fix that up. Especially the idle. Unless there is a vacuum leak. Then all vac lines for splits if they are all originals. Mine was doing that weird idle, fixed the split fuel pressure reg vacuum line on the manifold, cleared it up perfectly. Gonna do the MAP sensor line next.

    im thinking my twin throttles are playing up when i pull the throttle cable back to open the flaps on the throttle bodies 1st throttle opens perfect the second throttle doesnt open 100% how can this be fixed i was told by a mechanic i had the throttle bodies wrong way round for 1 prefomance mechanic told me ??

    shown in the pic the left throttle touches that metal thing on full throttle the other throttle misses it by a finger away from it ??

    Hmmm, not too sure mate, might need to ask someone who knows a bit more about twin throttle set ups. All i can say is, that ain't right. Might play a part in your problem, but might not, i would think that it would be just like having only one TB opening.

    Is your car internally modified or is it just the twin throats?

    damn ok man i think this is why my car seems to be blowing black smoke also

    If it's blowing black smoke, it's running rich. Get it dyno tuned for sure dude. Get that air fuel ratio leaned out a bit, then you will get the most from your twin throats and other mods.

    *** it bro im gonna piss that off and run a 4 barrel double pumper ontop with a round k&n should do my treat my bros ordering it next week

    Bwahahahaha. that would look pretty sweet. Still, get it dyno tuned though. You won't regret it. Expensive, but worth the cash.

    yep will do mate just gonna drive it more ive only done 400km i gotta do 1000km
    before it gets dynoed

    ive had a look at this edelbrock universal quad throttles efi 1000cfm il slap that onto the inner active high rise plane manifold with nice filter all under bonnet cant wait

    Ahhh, still running it in! Fair call! Just make sure you get someone decent to cut out the hole in your bonnet for the filter
