    Default dual fuel

if your car is running gas/petrol does it need to be able to switch to petrol to pass a rwc in victoria? just asking as my vr will run great on gas but as soon as you switch to petrol it just dies.

Im 99% sure it has to be working, the reason being, if you choose to run a Gas ONLY system, by law you are suppose to remove the fuel tank and lines, but that just one of those things I've heard, got diddly squat to back it up lol.

had the same problem with my vr v6, fuel pump was stuffed got it replaced by holden. Step daughter then drove it and ran out of petrol and switched to gas and then burnt out the new fuel pump. Turns out that when you switch to gas the petrol continues to recirculate through the system and with out fuel the pump burns out. expensive learning curve always have a quarter tank of petrol and no problem
