VR Totally Dead NEED HELP!
Hey Guys,
My mate borrowed my SS yesterday and i git his vr commie, anyway all was going great went to get in it to drop someone home car unlocked with remotegot in went to turn key and nothing. No lights no fuel pump totally dead. NO HAZZARDS???? Only thing that works is i can flash high beams. Key turns fine just does nothing. Battery good. Fuses Good. Im Stumped
EDIT: also key will not work to lock car back up. Literally the only electrics that work is high beams

Check the fuses again. Take your time.
Maybe also the plug connected to your ignition barrel under the bottom cover of the sttering column? Not sure on that one though.

It does suck, well i'll have a look it barrel then. All fuses are good, just sucks i have a turbo vr and i cant even start it lol
Not Barrel, All fuses good. Could it be BCM?
is it auto try jiggleing the shifter around some times they sit funny and activate the neutral saftey switch and wont start thats a big maybe but also check all power leads from battery and earths mate
its manual, its getting towed 2morro to my mates auto electrical shop. Nobody seems to know
how did you check your fuses?
did you use a test light?
to me it sounds like a main fuse thats gone if the only thing in the whole car that works is the lights. if its not your fuses maybe a wiring connection for the main fuse/s check it all with a test light
