hey, my VS is just running on chasers. i want to turn them into BT1 wheels and i'm just wondering what springs would be best to put in and make it sit nice. i want superlows in front and ultra's or SSSL's in back for wen i have rims put on but appartently u should put that size springs in wif just chasers. help me..... anyone got pics.![]()
sssl'sin the rear is goin to be way to low. sl's in the rear will prob be fine. but your asking peoples opinions here and everyones is goin to vary, so there is goin to be different answers.
i have 16" chasers in mine. They sit alright, could be a little lower in the back end though.
arnt chasers just stocko's that r silver..as for the bt1 springs .i think they used fe2 suspenion
i think u should go ultras all round
and no the vz's also had some that came with 16's
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
yeah they are now.. now i dont spin the to the 60ft mark

oh ok. well i wana put 19's on it some day but dnt wana hav to buy lower springs then. i hav the stockers on nd i want it to look gd. i want either ultra's or sssl's in the back wen the 19's are in so how much lower will it make it if i jus hav stockers? anyone got picks of their VS lowered on stockers? nd wat springs did u put in???
If you want the ex cop look then you will run the FE2 springs
- changing wheels won't affect the ride height unless you have the wrong tyres on them
- your painted stockies will probably look cheap
- not painting your stockies will probably look cheap
- leaving hubcaps on may not improve the look of your car, but it definately won't take away from it

What do you mean by ok? Low - yes. Legal - probably not. Will they scrub - not with standard tyres.
You will need a camber kit/adjustable panhard rod as well, and shortened shocks especially in the rear.
Since you obviously haven't searched and read one of the 1000 other threads about lowering I can guess what your next question will be
