Hi all, so im having some issues with my cruise control on my VS, trying to activate it i can get the green "CRS" light to come on but when i press the "SET" nothing happens so im going through some of the things that might be at fault. I have checked brake lights/switch, stalk on column, cruise switch (next to brake light swich), and fuses. When checking the fuses i was looking at the diagram thats on the inside of the plastic dash panel, it shows there should be a relay for the cruise control, yet on my car there isn't a relay there and i dont see any chopped wiring, it all looks factory, so im wondering if anyone knows what could be going on with this? Thanks in advance.
How about you look under the bonnet in the fuse/engine cover. From memory cruise control is there. Also makesure its connected to the throttle body.
Cheers

You don't have a cruise control relay in a Calais - that's only used for cars with a low-series BCM.
the other thing is if its not setting it could be the second brake switch on the pedal thats not letting it engage. its the switch that disengages cruise when u press the brake.
aside from that, i dont suppose you have recently put LEDs in ur taillights?
bugga, sorry mate i missed that part on ur first post.
can you swap the plugs on the brake switches? or have u tested the switches continuity?
has it always worked then it suddenly didnt or it hasnt since u've had the car?
