im pretty sure that should be the electric settings for the seats.

Had an idea it may be that,is that a VS only thing or did that come in VQ aswell. Does the drivers seat itself have controls down the side like passenger seat or is the whole thing on the door.
Im not sure as my drivers seat has them (controls) missing.I thought they'd went with the motor or something.

Thats where the drivers seat memory buttons go.

The main seat controls are on the seat itself, the memory buttons (3 presets) go in that spot on the door trim

Have a look at this thread for pics of the button http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...tml#post832208

What year model are your seats? (If unsure, post a pic of the bottom of the drivers seat)

Incorrect... A VR/VS stato never had factory fitted memory seats (Someone may have fitted themslves)

Caprice's were the only ones with this option

    No...

You can confirm this by searching for series 3 statos on a car sales website.

The seats will be non electric, and defiantly no memory

I have no idea what year model their from and the drivers seats is at a mates place waiting for me to get another base for it.

In my recent search for answers,i found out that VS II stato's had the OPTION of electric seats for 2k extra.

The pic i have posted now is of the passenger side controls. I thought the buttons on it were for memory.

Nah those buttons are used to adjust the seat.

From memory the single button next to the toggle switch is for the recline, the toggle switch is for back/forward and up/down, and the other 2 tilt the base.

Both the drivers and passengers seat have those switches.

What parts do you need for the drivers seat? (You mention it needs a new base? Seems a bit unusual for these seats?)

straight up,drivers seat is missing controls and a motor i think but no one has or willing to sell the few small parts i need on their own, best i could find is a bloke who will sell the base, which has all motors and controls.I really want the memory set up too coz after my partner drives my car,its a bitch to find that perfect seating position again.

Get some pics up, i'll see if i can tell you what's missing.

Call it a hunch, but going by your location (Newcastle) and the description of the seats, did you get them from a place near Tumbi Umbi?
