I have 8.5 x 20 with SSSL with no problems, have not even lipped the guards.
I could fit another inch of width easily, its all about offset

dont forget your rear camber kits, if you dont, with 20's youll *** your tyres within 5,000 kays, i seen it too many times at work, they comin for work, we tell them they need camber kits, then in 2 months they are back for new tyres, and camber kits and a wheel alignment.

yes, but if you plan to tuck you wont be able to if you have a camber kit...this is pretty much as low as i could get my senator with my 8.5x20s with 245-35s on it. abosolutely no mods to fit them what so ever. but they did scrub a little when i hit harsh bumps but if i had 225-35s i wouldnt have a issue.
