Hey all, just chasing a bit of advice.. My 95 VS Vacationer has picked up a problem, and really I don't know where to start..
I am having an issue with the car hesitating, missing and backfiring under load.. It happens all the time lately, but is less noticable after the engine warms up.. It also intermittantly goes away after stopping and restarting (say after stopping at shops)..
What should I be looking for??..
Any help to get me going would be greatly appreciated.. Cheers guys..
check your leads mate,if one or more of these are loose, the car will chuck a hissy fit a fair bit.

could be one of your coils has died mate, same thing happened to my VS.
Go start up the car in the dark and look around the coil for any sparks. Rev it a few times while you're there.
The fuel pump would be something to look at too.
hey mate start with your fuel filter
Am with Abba fan on this.. Fuel Pump.
Had a very similar problem. Are you getting any codes?
Abba's in the ball park-might also be worth checking fuel lines that connect to tank-my WB had the same prob and it was air sucked into the fuel line.
I'd check for fault codes first as it may be something as simple as the coolant temp sensor failing and telling the ECU that the engine is cold all the time.
Sorry for the late reply guys.. Thanks for all the ideas so far..
Well I've managed to check the coil packs and all good as far as I can tell.. Will get more done over the weekend and update as I rule stuff out..
Once again thanks..
