Vs Performance chip

Can somebody please show me which way this chip goes in ?
And anything about it, i got it off ebay and i am just a bit lost as to what effects my loved commodore is going to suffer with.

It goes in the exact same way the old one comes out. If there is anything more to it than that then I would be questioning it

look at the memcal there is one little plastic line on the side of the memcal just below where the cover closes on it marks pin 1 which is the pin on the lefthand side at the top of the chip the knotch on the end of the chip is the top
