Default Rear Demister cable broke off

    hey guys,

while in the process of taking out my rear quater window panels and putting it back in i managed to break of the cable attatchment thing. The auto electrician that fixed another problem said that im up for a new window.

Just asking if there is anthing else i could do? as this seems a bit much for something so small. also means i will have to re tint a new window.

Sorry for not having a picture ill get one up tomorrow afternoon.

thanks hope someone can give me some good news

    ahhhhhhh

Its only one line though yeah? im sure it will still work well enough. other then that all I can suggest without replacing a windscreen is scraping back the line on each end of the break carefully to reveal the conductive surface, masking it up and carefully applying some silver conductive paste/paint.
