Hey guys
When I first bought my car it had senator wheels on it, which I thought were awesome, but 6 months later a stupid fkn idiot of a p plater (IE, me) decided to go kerb jumping at speed and the rims didn't survive.
I've got some other chrome wheels but I'm over them and they are to narrow for my liking, but whenever I look to buy other senators they aren't chrome??
What's up with my senators being chrome?
No need to comment on the stuffed condition...I take responsibility for the massive chunk missing, other than that was previous owner.
1. are the genuine senator rims? should have a HSV stamp on the rear of one of the spokes.
2. if so, u can remove the paint, powdercoating, buy rubbing them back and then giving them a coat of clear. might be a job for a wheel or panel beater joint, but very very simple enough to do at home, u just need time and patients to get them done perfectly.
looks like you need to get some more blinged uphave you tried albion wheel workx?

Ephect I don't think there is a HSV stamp on the back I had a good look just now just a couple of numbers, I just believed the previous owner, bad idea now that I think about it...they thought that it was an ecotec..
So you'd say they are copies or something? They never came factory chrome?
Originally, real VS Senator wheels aren't chrome.
You either have fakes, or someone had a genuine set chromed.

But damn man, that is one SEXY car, awesome!
if they dont have HSV stamped on them on the back of the spoke, they're fakes/copies.
cobez, where's ur side on pics
definitely chromed, not polished?
Anyone know where i can pick up a set of copies for my VS Caprice?
Yeah definately chrome can peel the chrome plating off where the wheel is cracked. I have seen senators in second hand wheel shops before but I think that would be pretty rare. Just got to keep an eye on ebay, trading post etc
