vs ss auto problem

hay guys, i got a vs ss problem is when its pulled in to first givin it a gut full will force it to change to 2nd at 1200 rpm... will a transgo shift kit fix this.. i got a chip done by robs creative celebration not worth the money i spent it was ment to fix it but yeh...

any help would be helpfull from any one with a auto vs ss

1200??, even a normal shifting box will hold more than that in a standard box. If you have your foot down, you should almost be redlining before it changes, get the auto checked out, what else is it doing out of the ordinary.

ummm it shifts hard first second.. only had it 4 months from a yard the autos nice an shinny could be a reco or some painted one from a wrecker.. i had a vs v6 that held 1st till 5500 then went second... shits me the way it drives
