!!help needed asap!!!

hey guys
ive just taken the dash off my vr series 2 and im trying to find the globe in the speed alert to change.i cant find the globe and cant get the speed alert seperate from the dash..
where is the globe?

Take the dash fascia off. It is held in by two screws at the top of the fascia where the dash cluster lives, then carefully prise the rest off. It is held in by clips. You should be able to reach the globe at the back of the alert without unclipping the cable or removing the alert. If you are having trouble, unclip the cable. The speed alert is held in by four barb - you need to prise two of them in on one side to remove it from the fascia. The globe is located at the back of the alert. Look for a small black round piece of plastic - that's the globe. Unscrew it. Replace it with a new one. A new globe from GMH will set you back $17.00 (I'm not kidding as I have the receipt to prove it).
