Need help ASAP,Brake lights staying on

Not sure why but they refuse to co-operate.Ive stuffed around with the button thing attached to the brake pedal and even taken it apart yet they stayed on. They stopped once i took the fuse out but this has hopefully only saved my battery,and not fixed it.

The light comes on if the pedal has travelled too far. You need to push the pedal down hard (as far as it will go) with the car off to reset the switch. That's how I fixed mine, so hopefully it's the same with yours

Not sure what happened,i put it together and put the fuse in and thet stayed off,i checked and they worked normally.Cheers mate
