If it helps I can compare my old auto box and crossmember to my T5 crossmember. V6 though.
But theres something definatly wrong. Those pics in the other thread made me cringe lol. My shifter sits dead center.
yeh id imagine v6 and v8 are the same. if you could check that would be great. if i knew what the differences are in the two, ill know what to look for

Yeah Ill scope it out tomorrow. Also another thought that came to mind. I remember seeing "V6" stamped on both crossmembers. Unsure if theyre interchangeable but might be worth checking.
ahhh dont tell me that. its not gonna be fun finding a v8 manual crossmember if i do have an auto one

That's a manual cross member, mine looks exactly like that. Except mine is a 6![]()
The V6 auto and manual crossmembers are the same. Both measured up the same and have the same mounting offset. Heres some comaprison pics anyway.

If thats yours^ then turn the mount around. Im my pics the mount sits closer to the bend side, which is the passenger side![]()
ok im gonna go attempt that now. biggest problem will be trying to move the gearbox into the new position. its been like this for a year, so everythings kinda settled into place like that
