hey guys,
my VT alternator busted.
so i took it to a recommended auto repair shop.
got put in an aftermarket VR alternator.
anyways.. i get it back and now my speakers dont work.
i have no idea what he did!?
he says he'll fix it next week, screw paying that.
he also diagnosed it as a missing remote connection?
any ideas how to fix?
like a headunit tune or something along those lines?
thanks guys
VRoooom!
yer thats simple, if it is the remote conection, it is one wire, normally blue from the back of the head unit to the amp. Check the amp and see if Rem. is connected. If it is, trace it back to the head unit and look for faults.

it is the remote connection..on my speakers amp.
its a red wire btw.
have two amps. one for speakers, others for sub.
the rem is sort of working its like the slightest connection but.
how can i check at the headunit?
You have to pull the head unit out to check. What do u mean by the slightest connection but?

my mechanic used a tester thing wif a light globe.
all the connections made the light bright, cept the remote connection plug.
do you think it could have anything to do with my new alternator?
like it's too small to run all my stuff.
need a bigger one? like a BT1 alternator
does the car start? easily

when ive started the car in the same day its fine.
usually first time everyday it struggles. sometimes gotta give it some throttle
sometimes gotta warm it up
so yeh?
this sounds bad
Like i said before, you just have to trace all the wires back to the head unit from the amp..make sure they are all going to the right place.
