no remote connection in my speaker amp.

how do i check the headdeck?

i also got a new alternator, aftermarket VR alternator.
my old one was a VT

is it possible that the alternator is to weak for a sub, two amps n 4 speakers.
    maybe get a BT1?
    i dont care bout prices.
    i just want this fixed!

    thanking yoou!

if you go to your auto elec you can get a bigger alternator that bolts straight on, 100amp is heaps, although with a good battery your old alternator should be fine,

Unless you are running a MASSIVE stereo then the standard alternator will be fine.

What do you mean by no remote connection? You have a remote wire hooked up right?

its not a small system, but not a big one either.
    12 sub
    2 amps
    4 speakers
    headunit.

i worked out that my headdeck cant get enough voltage to run a shitty powervox amp
    just gotta replace the amp.

can you get ungrades on an alternator? like 100w more?

    there is ur problem mate..

    dont use a powervox amp..
get a good [but cheap] amp such as pioneer, kenwood, kicker, jvc, etc and ur connection problem is gone..

powervox is good for a standard system in the old eh/hr/ or in the shed..

Chances are if you are using a powervox amp your system isn't nearly big enough to warrant a bigger alternator. You have to be more descriptive of the system - what power (rms) are the amps, and model numbers would help.

Before you go spending any money, make sure the wiring is all good. Check all your earths, sand them back to bare metal. Check and clean your battery terminals.

I'm still not sure what your problem is?

    everyfins fine braas.
    wiring is all good.

i got a auto sparky..mate of mine to take a look.

the powervox is a 5600w one rms is 140x4 per channel.
    it sounds good.
but shitty amps need heaps of voltage.
and my headunit cant get enought voltage to it..so a good amp will do just that!
