wondering whats the best possible alternator to put in a V6 3.8l VR commodore.

i got an aftermarket VR alternator...my old VT alternator busted!

and now my speakers dont work.
one of the reasons may be cause the alternator is weak as
i've also noticed my car goes considerably slower then before.

how bout finding out the output of the alternator and trying to find an up rated one.
i dont know were you would get one though rare spares???

how do you find the output?

like volts?
i seen a hectic 12V 120Amp Universal one.

haha i got no idea but.
just hate this alternator.

I'd replace it with a Bosch Alternator, or get some money together and spend that little bit extra on top quality aftermarket one or it could be your battery is stuffed do a volts test on it to see if its reading at 12V.
