    Angry V6 Engine mounts won't line up?

    Whats the deal with these engine mounts i never taken out or put a V6 in is there so sort of trick i can't line them up. i undid them from under the k frame but i can get one side in and the other side is a mile off?
    Any help PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    you will need to drop one side, or get a bar and force one side in :P do the nuts up half way ish.

    then get the bar and push the other side across and into the hole, the threads shouldn't bruise they are pretty tough.

    They never line up, god knows why.

    whai do is fit the ac side in and just start the nuts.
    on the other side i have the mount very loose and maybe even the mount bracket, then it can be pushed around a bit to slip in.

    i have just put another motor into my vs and we had to take the air con pump off to put the engine mount in first

    Thanks for all the advise guys, i ended up using a 6 foot post hole digger bar and did it on the A/C compressor side and the back bolt pop right in the gave the front bolt a jab and she went straight in 5 minute job!!!!!

    all i did when i did my 5lt was bolt one side up but not fully tighten it and put the chains that the engine craine is hook upto the engine with onto the side that the mount that has to move over and lift it up, will twist the egine back into the position it was in and the engine mount will line straight up, much better than the pole idea imo..

    There the engine mounts that I'm use to as well but these one are different they have studs that go go through the k frame!
