Question Old lowering questions from a newbie

Hi guys, brand new to the forum, commodores, and blogging in general. Bought a sweet as stock VS Acclaim from an old lady. Will post photos once the 18's go on. The minister of finance is especially prickly at the moment considering I'm riding an 07 ZX10 and just got my license back (the love affair with SPER continues) Want to ask a couple of questions of the 'Forum Gods' (would quote this properly if I knew how, think it was Bek from the 'post you pics and prices here' thread)

I want to put king super lows all round and leave everything else alone (maybe rear camber kit, I am IRS)

    Am I crazy?
(give it to me straight, I can take it)

Will my sphincter collapse from the ride?

Will my rear springs fall out?
(sounds like an extension of the last question but actually refers to the suspension)

Will I smash up my stock shocks and struts?
    (similar dumb comment)

Do I need some kind of kit for the front?
(don't see much mentioned about front camber, etc)

Seems like a cool place, hoping someone will give the answer for the hundredth time.
    Thanks

Well, this is one of the more interesting posts I've seen here (in a good way).

    Am I crazy?
    Dunno.
Will my sphincter collapse from the ride?
Nah, will be a bit rougher and fairly firm, but not that bad.
Will my rear springs fall out?
As long as you don't go over speed humps super fast (i.e. faster than you probably normaly would).
Will I smash up my stock shocks and struts?
No, but it is recommended that you put shortened struts and shocks in, because the stock ones will wear out quicker, and on top of that it's just easier to change them when you do the springs (killing two birds with one stone).
Do I need some kind of kit for the front?
Nope. Just a wheel alignment as soon as you can.

The only other thing you nned to remember is that when you get the springs, the amount of S's in the part number won't be a reflection of the ride height, it's simply a part number.

GSL Rallysport (site sponsor) have some pretty spring and shock package deals.

Seems like a cool place, hoping someone will give the answer for the hundredth time.
Yes, lots of awesome people. This is what I do when I need to search though -
    Bang this into google.

"super low vs site:forums.justcommodores.com.au" (without quotes).

That "site:" bit limits the search to the site you put in afterwards.

Thanks man! spent several hours last night (technically this morning I suppose) and wow there is some info here. Probably ten answers to my questions as well but I appreciate you taking the time to answer me. I'm having an Ebay sell-a-thon (no car bits I'm afraid) to fund my mods so I'll definitely give GSL Rallysport a call when my final budget is established.

The eventual aim is shocks and struts as well really trying to decide whether to go with just springs for now or hold out for the lot.

Waiting is the sensible option I know.
(Still coming to grips with sensible)

    Thanks

They have their own section on this site. This thread lists package prices.

    Commodore Lowering Kits!

They are a decent brand of shock at a good price. Wait, it will be so much more worth it.
