vr wagon probs

hey guys, nothing serious, just brought a vr wagon, a: there is an annoying squeak coming from the back, just wondering what it is exactly, and b: the central locking doesnt work, half the time the headlights etc will flash, the other half the interior light will just turn on but the actuall doors dont unlock, wondering if its a fuze, or its the controll box, etc etc.

If you can here them attempting to work then there's a good chance the linkages and stuff in the doors are just slightly seized up. The actuators are really weak and it dosnt take much to hold them back. Take the skins off and give them a good hit with WD40 or inox, plus in the rear doors there's a guide that holds a shaft for the rear door linkages dont forget to hit that with some spray too.
The squeak could be the spare wheel rubbing in the hole it sits in.

no worries mate, thanks, i was assuming it was the rear tyre, and as for the power windows i cant hear them working but a few people have said it was the actuators, thanks mate.
