    ..or so I've been told.

A good install will always start on petrol - this may overcome this potential issue.

Had LPG on an EF - engine fire. Just got XR8 put on gas, installer said to change plugs to NGK & leads to Stainless Steel, then no more backfiring and no more inlet manifold fires. I know these are Fords (also have VS SS), but should apply to any EFI car.

Where is your sub, is it in the recess at the back of the boot (against the seat)?

My 90 litre tank fits nicely in their so although you lose the fold down access to the boot, carry capacity isn't really reduced.

Most gas installs do this, I was refering to the poster asking about dedicated gas.

all new gas systems these days startup on petrol, when it gets to a certain temp it will flick to gas in about 5 seconds, my gas gen3 actually when i start red lining it, it will kick into petrol until its out of redline, takes about 5 seconds to change, these systems today just about do everything for you, expect when u need to every so often run ur dual fuel on petrol for about 10-20 mins.
