trans service when installing lvl 2 shift kit?

ive heard you get a transmision service aswell if you are installing a transgo shift kit , so yeh... if i get that shift kit installed can i write transmission service off my list of things to do or is it a different kind or they dont go over as much etc?
trans doesnt seem to need it , i would just like to know its been done.

yes they will because a) the sump gets dropped so your oil is removed and b) the filter is removed too. just double check that they will do it in the price they quote you

they sort of have to as the oil is really the service, they would have to be pretty crap to put the old filter in for the $10, also there is no band adjustment on Turbo 700's so yeah I would tick it off.

parts are about 300 off ebay for the transgo and a corvette servo and i was told around 200 in labour from a particular mechanic that i cant get in contact with anymore so im going too have to shop around for labour costs.
