Remote Centrol Locking no Response

Hi Guys.

Got a VR Berlina. Have 3 Keys, Including a new one, But the remote central locking dose not work. I did once get the boot to open after reseting the car by disconnecting the battery, but still no luck making it work.
what part controls the remote and where is it? is there something i can clean or reset? i susspect its the receiver since all doors lock and open with the key just fine. I Have had a look on other parts of the forum but cannot find a clear answer :-(

Where did you get the new key head (remote) from? If it's from Mister Minute or equivalent, did you follow the process they gave you exactly? If you didn't then you will have to get another key head.

Yeah i did get it from mister minute, and yes followed instructions, As they say, Open the car manually, lock the door, start the car and idle for 1min, switch off, then try it and unlock the car with the remote. and the process worked fine in the VX when i got one done for it, but not the VR. And as Mentioned the Boot did open once after reseting the car.

Hey Guys, I resolved The Issue.

I First Discovered the Sercuity system was Off, I Switch to on.
Then locked the doors while inside, Started the car, Waited a min or 2, Switched off, waited another minite till the arial went back down, then attempted to open with the remote. now the system now works, remote works as it should. So just if anyone has the same problem give this ago.
Cheers For the help on the forum, Had the idle issue, cleaned the IAC and runs perfect now.
