    Default compatability

    can a V8 bosch alternator fit into a v6 vr commodore?
    also wondering prices?

    The V8 alternator comes with a V-pulley. You need a ribbed pulley for the V6. Can't comment on the fit, they are both 85amp alternators so why would you bother with a V8 alternator? Unless you install one from a VT1 V8 in which case the pulley is already ribbed and it puts out 120amps - $388.
