vr commodore gearbox problem

Hi i have a vr commodore every morning when we start it just seems like it wont come out of first just sort of revs and goes nowhere but once warm is absolutely fine please help thanks

sounds like you might need to change the transmisson fluid and filter, usually is the first thing to do if it still does it after that get it checked out.

check fluid level first (with engine running when warm in park), if it's not low than it could be expensive (rebuild). it's a common problem for worn boxes to 'hang' in 1st when cold...
