Default few questions bout vr 5ltr

hey everyone just got my first holden.
i have a few questions about it i know nothing about these cars always had fords.

1.The horn doesn't work and i can't work out why it isn't where should i look to check everythings conected and working?

    2. The gearbox is playing up. it shifts really rough into 2nd and if you don't back off the excelerator just before it changes it makes like a grinding crunching noise. If you put your foot down so it kicks down a gear it goes out of gear and just revs out untill backed off. and if you try and give it a bit off the mark when it goes to change gears it slips out and revs out.

    3. the irs in the rear end its been dumped on its ass and the camber is shocking is there anyway to fix it so it wont wear the tyres out (not to expensive) without raising it.

I think thats it Thanks for help to whoever helps

Raise it then. If it's sitting fair down on it's arse, it probably looks rediculous anyway, raise it an inch or two.

1.) sounds like its not touching the metal "ring" behind the steering wheel...

2.) your box is stuffed.. all you can do is service it (wont do much though) or get another/yours rebuilt

3.)you can't fix camber wear without a camber kit... either raise your car or get a camber kit..

i...as what S2 VR says plus if you don't want to pull steering column apart try fitting a separate horn button.
2...Again it sounds stuffed...maybe a can of transmission treatment may help temporarily.
3...get 2nd hand springs from wrecker is cheapest way.
