Legal to have hot dogs and no mufflers?

Just wondering if its legal to have a hotdog on your exhaust with no muffler??

Nope. You will probably cop an EPA notice eventually for exceeding the decibel level. Most exhausts on Holdens would (aftermarket that is) if they make any kind of noticible noise, but if you go hot dogs and no mufflers, it will be offensively loud, therefore, more likely to be noticed by Police etc.

If it's a V6, it will sound bloody god awful with a dog and no muffler.
