    Red face Starting Probs With My v6 VS!!

    g-day all,

    now this prob is driving me nuts i just put a new batt in it and got a second hand alternator from the local wreckers, and i thought it would fix the prob, but say if i leave my car 2 days without driving it wont start. i charge it then leave it again for 2 days happens again, even after 1 night its hard to start can someone please help me out i love my car

    any lights still on when the car is closed, possibly the boot light? recent stereo install, could be wired in wrong?

    any work done on the car recently that involves electrics?

    the headunit was with the car, um bootlight stays off, but i have put neons right through the car?

    how have u wired it up?

    did ur problem start occuring after ur neon install?

    now that i think of it i think it has, i have it all up to a switch, it plugs into a fuse in the fusebox?

    for the next week, remove the fuse and remove the neon power wire from the battery and see if the problem disappears and let us know how u go

    Could just be a shitty alternator, wreckers ones aren't that reliable, speaking from experience.

    get a multimeter and go through all your fuses and pull one out at a time and checking to see how much power is getting drawn out mine turned out to be the interior light draining it out
