guys ive lowered my vs sedan and i notice now if i goto jack it up with my trolley jack just behind the front wheel on the flat spot to put the jack it just keeps getting higher and higher until the shockie looks like its going to get damaged and the wheel doesent come off the ground , so now to take the front wheel off i put the jack under the front lower control arm part and jack it up this way ,am i going looney or is this normal i could of sworn b4 lowering it i used to jack it up from just behind the front wheel with no probs ? lol cheers muz
sounds normal to me, you wont do any damage to your shock either.
nah thats normal mate, they fully extend, it just feels like it's going up alot higher... (which it is)..
thats what happens with the mcpherson strut, coz ur jacking it up by the body, the suspension has movement which is normal and is meant to. now coz u've lowered it, it seams long to lift the wheels off the ground
