oil light

hello i am after some help i was driving my vs today and my oil light came on the oil is full i have only just done a oil change i turned the car off then starter it after a few min it has no come on just yet any one know what to look for as to y it happend thanks

were the oil filter is there is like a electrical switch if there is oil dripping from it then it needs to be unscrewd out with a spanner and you can go to bursons and it should be about 20 bucks, if there is no oil dripping then i reackon its a electrical fault

mine comes on if i break to hard going down hill then goes out after a bit spun me out the first time it happened but used to it now, i know it is burning oil cause the vavle stem seals are buggered, so i check it once a week or so and top it up if it needs it.

ok i found it there is a little bit of oil a round it i will replace it and c how i go thanks

see how that goes use a big spanner not sure on the size and tack out the switch and replace the sensor and let us no light shouldnt be on then
