VS vs. VR??? FUEL ECONOMY!!!

hey guys..

im just wondering what fuel economy will be like in a VS 5 speed UTE.. compared to a VR auto WAGON..??


any ideas how good the ecotec fuel consumption is??

dont boot it, or ecotec becomes thirstytec. I get better economy with my 5 litre than I ever got with my VY ecotec. used to get 8.7L/100kms highway driving with the eco, but 14something around town.

ok, im buying a ute next week a VS... so just wanting to know from people wat te like on fuel compared

dont know what the buick gets, but im happy with my emotec, 400-450kms round town, n 650-700km on a trip. if u maintain any engine it should reap you the kms

u gotta remember thou, one car to the next there are soo many variables, tyre pressure, worn bearings, dodgy gearbox.. the same engine in a different car could give u totally different results

true...... were the VS ecotecs suppossed to bebetter on fuel than the VR's Buick Motor??

yep theyre supposed too give better economy and have more kws

if drive ecotec normal you will get better fuel ecnomy but when you go hard it drinks it my vs 350 km to a tank my mates vr 400km to tank when we going hard if we both normal he get 550 i get 650km
