G'day yeah the rebate is still on but it has dropped to $1750 it doesn't matter bout the age of the vehicle only difference is if you order a new vehicle with dedicated/ duel fuel then i think you only get $1000 back

    Rebate is still $2000.

Age of the car doesn't matter. As long as it is second hand not off the factory floor (in which case rebate would be $1000) then you get the $2000 rebate.

    Its been reduced to $1750

The rebate for post-factory conversions to LPG fuel systems will be cut from $2000 to $1750 on July 1 this year. It will be lowered further to $1250 on July 1, 2011, and then to $1000 the next year.

The rebate for factory-fitted LPG systems will remain unchanged at $2000 for privately owned new cars.

You pay up front then give the gov the paper work (reg papers has to be registered, receipt for gas install and a license) as long as you haven't done one in the last 6 months you should get your rebate in 1-6 weeks i got mine in 2 weeks of doing paper work.

yes you still can, and as far as getting a big company like eg e****s, i would STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM COMPANYS LIKE THEM, just think about production line work and dealerships

The best gas tank, would be APA. 2 reason: number 1 AUSTRALIAN MADE (need i say more) number 2 there workmanship is number 1, unlike most imported gas tank from overseas (dont let me start, cuz i will NEVER STOP). SO i wouldn't think twice about anyother company beside APA
