Body Kits

Hey everyone,

I was thinking of buying a full bodykit for my VS Equipe. What kits would u guys recommend?

It needs to replace to whole front and rear bumper due to serious paint damage (so i dont want those SS add ons)

Also how much would i be looking for for a respray of the bodykit?

If you MUST get a body kit, and it can't be an SS lip kit then that leaves a VS HSV kit as your only option to come out of it without looking like a complete dick

check out SpoilerTech, DMD image, etc and see what they can do for ya..
or even in the **************** magazines, they have adds on who do bodykits OZ wide...

IMO, the VX clubby kit does look good on VR/VS models, just so long as ya dont overdo the painted in areas like most do..

im after the SS lips for my charcoal VR sedan if anyone knows or has any lying around the dont want.

i like the vs clubsport bodykit on vr/vs..
i myself have a vx clubby kit on it and been told it suits it alot

theres a guy on south road that sells those VX kits for VS for $700 , thats his ebay price anyway... 500 south road i think it is.

the vs clubsport or vx clubsport kits are on ebay for around the 650 to 800 mark which is a fibreglass set and most of the produces are from qld (from what i've seen).

To get a whole respray of the car would cost around the 2k mark.

So about 3k fully installed maybe more

Wait, you don't want an SS kit because you want to replace the bumper but then you are going to have to get it painted anyway?

im not getting anything more then the vs/vr ss lip kit, but i rekon get vx clubby, looks absolutly aewsome on vs/vr's i rekon, i just dont wanna spend my money and time on one and id prefer the ss kit anyway

hey mate there is a shop on ebay that sells heaps of non genuine kits for vs, all the later model clubsport ktis n everything you could want, they're all brand new n $650 too. my mate put a vy clubsport kit on his vt and that cost $1000 to spray everything plus boot

Kitted V6's are shithouse...

Anyway, even though I don't like it, make sure the kit you get is from the same model i.e. VR/VS personally, I don't like a different style on a different car. Keep things the same.

Your choice in the end though.
