Took of from a set of light a while ago and when i changed into second and gave it some all of a sudden there a exstremely loud metal scraping noise coming from within the bell housing.
I took the dust cover off and there is some metal filings in there but strange thing is it drives fine except for the defening noise coming from it.
I dont think it is the gear box as the noise is there when in gear and clutch in Im think something has let go inside the clutch but also worried it might be rear main bearing or something but i would assume there would be some knocking going on if that was the case .
Anyhoo ill be back from the uk in a week or so (happened a week before i left)
so will pull it apart again (just put the manual in ) and see what i can find .
Any one ever had anything like this happen .???
oh and it is a 97 clubsport vs s2
