wen i stop at lights and it dusnt stall and its idoling it shakes like its dieing for petrol.. if that makes sence.. lol..

but wen it stalls the process is like... im slowing down at the lights and wen i come to a complete stop the car shakes.. all the lights on the dash come on and it jus dies... then it usually takes a while to start her up agen..

i dunno but im thinkin it might be the fuel pump.. cuz it takes ages to start her up wen she hasnt been driven for like an hour or more??

I'm having the exact same problem with my '95 VS Sedan. Initally mine was leaking heaps of power steering fluid and the (shonky) place I took it to changed the power steering pump and then told me that my head gaskets were all worn out and required replacement.
Cut a very long and expensive story short - my car now does exactly what yours does and there is no explaination for it as it never acted like this prior to having any work done. The car has run worse since they touched it, and I'm yet to find out exactly whats wrong. I have checked most things from fuel pump to ignition leads and plugs, but nothing is really yelling out to me.

The revs on mine just bottom out when I pull up to a set of lights or anywhere. Then it either doesn't turn over or if it does, its really dragging. I have a relatively new battery also so I don't think its power related.....

    Crank Angle Sensor (CAS)?
    Vacuum-related problem (under brakes)?
    Idle circuit or something?

wen i first bought my car which was about 2 years ago... it had a power steering pump leak and head gasket leak... i got that all fixed and was fine after that... and then my car started stalling going around corners sumtimes... i got the crank angle sensor replaced and then problem never happened agen after that.. so car was all good till my trans ****ed up... got a recon trans put in... car was all sweet... year later now this has happened... mayb my car jus badly needs a service? could that be another thing??

Pull out your ICS and give it a good clean. If its clogged or faulty when you back off for lights and the butterfly closes and you aint getting enuf airflow through it would stall. If its faulty it should log a code in the computer. Worth a try. Remember you should disconnect your battery before unplugging any electricals so have your radio pin handy if it has one for when you connect the battery back up.
