    Default Strut brace for VR ute compatibility?

    Will a Strut brace supposed to be for a V6 VR-VS commy fit a V8 VR engine or are the engine clearances different? For some reason there seems to be about 100 dollars difference between the two apparently.

    edit: also thinking about it, I can kill two questions in one thread here, should a motor with a clutch driven fan and not a thermo come on immediately at ignition and stay at approximately the same speed regardless of temp. (except when revved) all the time?

    i think they are different because of the clearance

    Yes clutch fan stay same speed at idle as thats when you need it cooling. When you are driving and reving ect.. thats when you dont need it as forward motion moves the air through the radiator. Ifyou hold your foot down at about 2500rpm you'll hear it cut out.
