Default !!ultra lows on front and back???

    hey guys
i got a vr executive with 15 inch interceptors on it and im wondering wheither i should get ssl all round or ultra lows all round. i wont both front and back tyres to be under the guard but the back a touch more than the front. also would i get a very bumpy ride with these springs? or is that just with chopped springs?
    cheers jordan

you cant get ultra lows for the front, the lowest you can go on the front is ssl's....

if you want a nice stance, i suggest ssl's front and sssl's for the rear..

seeing as u have a vr exec, im pretty sure they are live exel, so it wont go that low compared to a IRS...but ssl's will get you about 10-15mm above the tyre and sssl's will get you to 5 to -10mm above and below the tyre...

there is also the dodgy way of cuttin a few coils off the spring..

when lowering any car is gets bumpy, as the springs are thicker...fitting some lower shocks helps a little bit..

yeh sssl's are ultra lows, ssl's are super super lows and sl's are super lows..

10-15mm(with the ssl's) would be the gap between the guard and tyre

(sssl's) 5mm the gap between tyre and guard to 10mm tyre tuckage..

if you end up getting SSSL'S and want to go lower you can do the safer way than chopping and get the springs reset..which you take it to a place(not sure where, maybe suspention place) and they heat up the spring and compress the spring to a desired size...but you can only go so low, because of bumpstops and the police lol

    wow thats wierd
i have sl's in the back atm and id say thers about a 30mm gap between the tyre and guard. my cousin has ssl's in his vt and hes sits about 5mm under the guard. i know his has irs but still i thought ultra lows would put me easily 10-15mm under the guard

Seriously heaps of you guys still have no clue what your talking about when it comes to springs especially Kings as there is so much variation between lows, super lows and ultra lows.

if your in melbourne try Spicers springs (i think google or 1223) in bayswater they make springs and reset them for you too i had super lows in the back of my vs w/irs wanted it tucking tyre, you can now see half the tyre tuckin on 235/40/18s and in drive its a lower and only cost $60 i took spings out myself and brang em in, if you get them to take springs out and put them back in once reset it will cost you bout $130. had to get an alignment and adjust the prevoius camberkit cause camber was pretty out.
