Vr V6 Auto and Fuel issues

Hey There, I am new to this site and wish i found it earlier, i have two questions for all,

1st, I have a 94 VR V6(non ecotech) auto, when i first brought the car the 1,2 shift solenoid was screwed so replaced itand done a full trans service, untill i cleared the error codes it went into gear like it had the biggest shift kit ever made, after a clear of codes it was fine, now it has done the same thing, being when i put it in gear it selects like its got a thousand horses behind it, (BIG THUMP) also doesnt seem to selct 4th gear (od), I have run diagnostics on the vehicle using the SNAP ON diagnostic unit and there ae no code, also no codes by shorting the diag pins for flash mode, it comes back with a code 12,(system normall i beleive)

2nd, Wheni run diagnostics with the SNAP ON tool and also EFI LIVE it says that the car is running rich, and yes it does smell very rich, even more in the mornings when cold (which i know cars do when cold) I was wondering why the ECU in the vehicle doesn't lean out the mixture if it can read it is rich (i am under the impression they do,

Things i have changed on the CAR

Spark plugs to Bosch 4's (supposedly high performance) also NGK

8mm Leads
Coil Packs (complete, not just the packs them self)
Also put MSD 8224 coils (replacement for standard)
MAP Sensor
fuel filter
oil filter
OIL
straight through 2 1/2'' exhaust with pacemaker headers
cold air intake

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND IT WAS RUNNING RICH AND HAVING THESE ISSUES BEFORE I MADE THE AFTER MARKET MODS,

u've changed the transmission oil/filter recently ? sounds like the solenoid's have gone again ?
have they got non-adjustable bands ? i don't know much about transmissions

& have u checked u're 02 sensor operation . i think they're sposed to be replaced every 80000k or so .
& coolant temp readings etc ?
