Hi everyone,
I just had my rear suspension replaced on my statesman, i think it was pretty much original gear.
I have noticed that the Lovell HRS-66 and the KYB shocks that have been put in are quite a firm ride, and far from the comfort I would prefer. Its still the same standard height, which I am happy with.
Does anyone know where I can get springs that are progressive rate for the rear in IRS, the suspension mob told me they dont do them.
There has to be a way to make the ride nice and comfortable again.
Cheers
I had the same problem i just replaced my springs and shocks and their 1.5" lower and it's like riding on rocks. GOOD LUCK!

Isnt it shocks that you would replace.
yeah would have thought the same, but the guy reckons it needs these KYB short throw shocks to keep the springs captive, and that it's the springs that are causing the stiff ride.
so what would be the cushiest shock i should put in there to get it back to ride nice and plush again?
