Default Vac line replaced.. now low boost reading?

    Hey guys,

I recently fitted my high ratio roller rockers to my l67 supercharged vs and when doing so I noticed one of the vac lines under the throttle body was cracked and not connected so I replaced it with another vac line. It was connected to what looks like to be a boost soleniod? now after driving it the boost gauge is only showing 3-4 psi when before it would show close to 10psi cause im running a 10psi (87mm) pulley...but I'm almost certain it still performs the same. So i disconnected the line again and it is back to showing the right boost reading of around 10psi, so my question is why is this happening? cause it has me scratching my head?

    any help is appreciated,

    cheers,

    -Damo

the "boost solenoid" you are referring to is meant to be a bypass valve from memory, so that whent he TB is closed the engine vacume will open the valve and let are recirculate through the supercharger.

Maybe the bypass valve is stuffed/jammed.

Hook it back up, start the car and give it a few love taps, might unstick it.

The Vac line thats under the TB doesnt go to the boost soleniod, Al;so are taking your boost reading from directly under the supercharger snout?
