Default Calling drivers with genuine Foggies

I'm looking at getting some genuine fog/driving lights from Holden, and I'm wondering if anyone can give me a few pics of the view from the drivers seat? I need to make sure its worth the 300 or so bucks... haha

    Cheers.

you notice them more in the later(newer) models.. ie. in my vt you can only just notice the difference when they are on... when we had the vy the difference was more noticable, but still not a massive difference (if you were to accidently turn them off while you were driving, you wouldnt be able to tell)

    theyre more for the aesthetics

They help a lot in the fog, but not much better visibility on normal night driving. Though you're not supposed to use them on normal nights anyway.

Have them on my Caprice. They provide some side fill at night at best with the high beams. I have used them once or twice only on country trips at night. $300? I wouldnt bother. Have never needed them for fog and as above, it is apparently illegal (In WA anyway) to use them unless its foggy etc.

Thanks guys. Will probably knock it down the list for a few months at least...

TVR161, yeah I did consider that. Would look pretty sick, but what's the light spread like? Probably wouldn't matter much hahaha

In Qld it is now a $150 fine (and I think demerits apply as well now...)

Besides Foggies are useless when fog isn't around and on wet rainy days they just add glare...

the bracket itself on the foggys u can move to a certain extent. ive got 100watters in mine and its a considerable difference when theyre on with just parkers. i get highbeamed as people must think ive got my highbeams on lol. with driving lights on you can tell the difference not as easy... hope that helps

Got them on my Statesman and think they work pretty good on dark roads for side view (don't do much for forward view), but never used the commodore ones.

they look pretty good and serve a purpose, wish i had them as i get a lot of fog here. I often wonder about the $300 to spit up but i like them and i almost have all i need ie dash loom with foglight connection and beat up calais front bar for hole cutting, just need bezels and lights themself. Ive put it down the list of sh!t to do coz i have suspension to get, window tint to do get caprice seats to put in. List just doesnt seem to end
