Vr 6 idles iratically in netral and try's to stall when changing from reverse/drive

Like it say vr 3.8ltr, it idles all over the place when it's in netral then I put in gear and it seems to idle pretty good, then you back out the drive and go to put into drive and it try's to stall. Driving round and it feels nice and smooth, any idea's? Thanks

Remove the throttle body and give it a thorough clean with some carby cleaner. Also remove the IAC valve for a clean and blast the port it sits in with carby cleaner too.
After this, reinstall everything and reset your pcm by removing the engine fuse for over 10secs. When you start the car you'll want to give it a good hard drive for at least 15mins letting it idle every now and again for a period.
If it doesn't improve after that then you'll have to start looking at having the IAC valve tested/replaced.

Is there anyway to test it as i put a different one in and it's still the same, or should i just do a computer check?

IAC Valve, it was from a car that was running fine before i parted it out.
