    Angry VR strange bad vibration

hi ive got a 93 vr manual v6
just put a new exchange v6 in it , got flywheel machined, new h/d clutch
put it all together got it cranked ova and it has a unbalanced feeling inside the car.
it's there when u rev it stationary clutch in/out so its not in the gbox or tailshaft or diff.

im thinking its either unbalanced flywheel or motor, could the wrong harmonic balancer b an issue? it came with the new motor. the wobbleing/ unbalanced feeling is there when the revs go up and down. any ideas???

im guessing my best option would b removing gbox and clutch and fly and run the motor without the fly and see if the unbalanced wobble is still there.

also the motor has a cam sensor plug so im guessing its a S11 and my vr is a S1 would that effect anything??

any1 had similar problem or any advice

I'm sure you've checked already but are you sure it's not ignition or injector related? Also can to view the flywheel whilst it's idling to check runout?

First thing I'd do is check that your ECU is the correct one to run the S2 motor plus if the ECU is for the auto I think you may have problems there. The miss will have to be fixed before you look at balance problems (which probably won't be there when idling smoothly)
Do a search on this forum as there has been heaps written on similar conversion to yours and the problems you are having sound familiar. The timing can be affected by the CAS, DFI, ECU, leads plugs etc but in your case I'd go the ECU route.
    Good Luck.

OK - probably ignition related so first double check all plug leads are correctly fitted to the plugs and the coils.
Did the new engine come with coils or was it bare?
