Ok I'm a little bit confused.
I was under the impression that all VS S-packs came out with IRS suspension. Not Live Axel, however, someone told me the other day that not all did, and that the 'Radial Tuned Suspension' sign under the headunit (on that little bar on the center console) means that the car is Live Axel not IRS (he says that if the car is IRS it will have the ABS//IRS sign instead of Radial Tuned Suspension)
I'm confused.
Did any VS S-Packs come out in Live Axel?
I think it was an option, like SRS etc.
Edit: Or maybe IRS was an option...
There is no such thing as stupid questions, Only stupid people.
I would've thought IRS was the option, given that it's technically an upgrade.
Hmmm...That's what he said but I would've thought that the S-Packs had most of the 'sportier' or upgraded parts.
Nope, IRS was an option. I've seena fair few on this forum with the option, which probably gives the impression they all have it.

I'm not sure it would.
You'd have to ring holden with the VI and get the codes (or if you have the Assembly sheet) which are 3 digit codes as seen here
Clicky

Well I checked under her skirts today and it's live Axle so that kind of sucks...
LSD wasn't an option on S-Packs was it? I'm pretty sure that that was standard.
nice pic. i would rather live axel dont worry about camber.
it really isnt hard to notice what you got. looking at your springs will tell you too. the normal ones are straight up and down irs are like a diamond shape- if you get what i mean
im sure the LSD was part of a package,Ie if you got FE2 then a LSD became an option. I have a mate with a VS Executive with both FE2 and LSD from factory,V8 too. I know VE Omega's have the LSD option "IF" you get the sports suspenion put in
WTB:VR/S HSV 250km/h speedo cluster
Hmmm...well I was also under the iompression that LSD was standard.
Anyone want to shed some light on this?
if you wipe all the crap off the diff you should find a metal tag with some info on it. If it says Hi performance then you have an LSD.
hmmm weird once again....sounds like some S-packs were basically an exec with the SS kit and FE2...kinda gay...
